ABC introduces PGA Enhanced... (but where is it?)
I noticed this morning on the PGAtour website that ABC is launching their enhanced tv app for golf today. However, when I went to find info about it on the ABC or ESPN site there was nothing.
After doing some searching I finally came up with this link. If you're gonna launch something shouldn't you post some links?
There are a lot of cool things broadcast companies can do to integrate interactive media with their broadcasts, this probably isn't one of them. Stay tuned.

UPDATE TO THIS POST: Ok, i've checked out enhanced TV coverage of today's ABC coverage and guess what? There is nothing there that wasn't there (technology wise) back in 1998. C'mon broadcasters! Get with it already. In Europe people are watching soccer games live on their cellphones and picking camera angles using interactive TV, and we can't figure out a way to put a leaderboard on-command on our tv screens. Someday... Someday. I guess.

700,000 Square Feet of New Golf Gear!
The 2005 PGA Merchandise Show opens today in Orlando, marking the official start of the golf year for me. There may be snow on the ground in the northeast, but it warms my heart knowing that 45,000 people are experiencing golf nirvana.
Plenty of new products will be introduced over the next few days, so stay tuned for all the latest. (editors note: The Golf Channel is brodcasting 3 days worth of live coverage from the show floor 2-4pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with rebroadcasts each evening).
