Awaiting the arrival of the Titleist 905
So far I'm really enjoying my r7 Quad... not a ton of distance (less than my 983k), but I'm consistently hitting a lot more fairways and my scores have been coming down.
Why then, am I awaiting a new driver from Titleist?... because I'm one of those golfers who always wants to tinker (unfortunately at the expense of my scores). I keep telling myself that once I find the perfect piece of equipment I'll quit the tinkering and become loyal to one model.
That probably will never happen, although I did keep my word when it came to my putter, an Odyssey Tri-Hot #3, that I've been using for 2 years now with no desire to change.
Anyway... I'm envisioning a new 905 Driver with an Aldila NV or NVS shaft taking me to new lengths and better scores. (hopefully!?!)
No changeable weights, no composite crown, just classic Titleist lines in what looks to be a nice upgrade to the 983...
Jump to the extended entry for some photos (you may have already seen), I found on GolfDoggy.com of the new 905...
