BellSouth pullout?

Over the last few weeks, the weather has wreaked havoc on tour players physical and mental states, so is it any wonder some would decide to pull out of what looks to be another much-delayed event this weekend. With the Masters coming up next week, who can blame them?

Luke Donald pulled out of the rain-delayed BellSouth Classic in Atlanta yesterday, citing tiredness after finishing joint runner-up in the Players Championship on Monday.

Donald, who makes his Masters debut next week, said: "Last week was a very long week and I was very tired. It was mental and physical having to play almost two rounds in one day in wet conditions and windy conditions."

Stay tuned...
