Happy New Year ... Let's all have a great 2006!
It's been a year since I began Bogey Lounge in an effort to amuse myself and hopefully entertain, engage, and inform fellow golf lovers in all topics related to golf.
I've had a blast building the site and making a ton of new friends through my virtual Lounge.
Now comes 2006 and I'm filled with excitement about what the new year will bring. My game didn't improve in '05 due mostly to a nasty case of golfer's elbow and a hectic work schedule, but I intend to beat both of those obstacles in '06.
There are a ton of things I want to do with the Lounge regarding content and interactivity (and will even officially be launching other "Lounge" blogs relating to other topics... more on that next week).
2006 is shaping up to be a great year for golf with many anticipated equipment launches, great professional story lines from the men's and women's tours, an upcoming Ryder Cup, and a growing number of great golf blogs doing tons of great content.
To my fellow golf bloggers I wish you a happy, healthy, wealthy, and low scoring year to you all ... and to our many readers and friends I wish you the same and many happy returns...
Now let's get the '06 golf year under way!

Damn I hate to even hear the words "golfer's elbow"... It took almost a whole season for mine to go away and it flares up now and then just to scare me.
I too found my blog and other parts of my world getting attention at the expense of my game. My handicap went up. This year it goes down baby.

Hey congratulations BogeyMan. You are one of only a handful who have been around that long and the site has really been enjoyable the last couple months. Keep up the great work!
