The Golf Channel gets lions share of tour coverage...

Particulars of the 2007 PGA Tour schedule have not yet been announced, but the tv agreements are set.
The biggest change in the TV landscape is The Golf Channel's long-term commitment to the tour which makes them the exclusive cable television home for the PGA Tour's official money events beginning in 2007. The exclusive deal is not only unprecedented in golf, but also will make the 24-hour golf network the Tour's biggest television partner.
Congratulations Golf Channel... now listen up... Get your act together! Improve your broadcast quality, announcers, graphics, and start broadcasting in High Definition before the start of next season.
For all the good you have done for the game of golf, it could be just as bad for golf if you get the lion's share of coverage and don't succeed in satisfying the golfing public and engaging the casual fans.

You hit the nail right on the head. I watch the golfchannel all of the time but if they are making long term commitments for the tour they need to step up and improve the quality of the broadcasts, most importantly in High Definition.
