European Ryder Cup Team Weakening a Wee Bit

Colin Montgomerie has been an outstanding member of the European Ryder Cup team since he first played in the tournament in 1991. During his years on the team he has never been beaten in a singles match, a rather remarkable accomplishment. Unfortunately, for Colin and the rest of the European team, his form seems to have slipped recently missing 7 of his last 9 cuts. Does this spell an end to Europe's hold over the most emotional tounament we as fans ever see? Hard to say for sure but it certainly seems that the European Ryder Cup team has weakened a wee bit.

Note from BogeyMan: A hearty Lounge welcome to our newest BogeyLounge contributor. Robert, currently the co-editor of Elephonkey, has stepped up to assist me with the Lounge. My severe elbow tendinitis has not only affected my golf game, but my ability to work online as well. You'll enjoy Rob's views, but don't be surprised if his leanings are Euro-centric... he's from that side of the pond, which will come in handy as we approach another Ryder Cup. Thanks for your help Rob, Cheers!
