Victories: Won the 2003 Canarias Open de Espana and the 2005 European Open on the European PGA Tour.
Before 2006: Since joining the European tour in 2000, his best world ranking was 103rd in 2003. During that season, he had three top-10 finishes on the European tour and a scoring average of 71.87. Last season, he was a career-best 11th on the Order of Merit, the European tour money list.

This season: Ferrie has played in 15 European tour events. He has a scoring average of 72.42 and has earned $168,925.09. He has had four top-25 finishes, 18 rounds under par and 27 rounds over par. The U.S. Open is his first tournament in the United States.
