The Daily Shag: US Open Edition

Call in sick, grab a cup of java (or tea) and settle in for what is sure to be an exciting weekend of US Open golf. Winged Foot held up as a tough yet fair track and unless things shift overnight, it looks like we're in for quite an Open Championship.

The best line of the day goes to Tiger Woods who after being told that only Ben Hogan (1951) and Jack Fleck (1955) had ever shot an opening round of 76 and gone on to win the Open, responded to the question of what his chances are with: "It's been done before, hasn't it?"

Don't count Tiger out.
