Beware of lightning on the golf course

As is probably the case with a lot of golfers, I sometimes make light of storms coming through during a round. But this story of a golfer being killed while taking cover in a storm shelter makes you think twice about hanging aroung for "just another couple of shots".

"The lightning went down the tree and into the wood of the shelter," said Town of Montgomery police Sgt. Alex Landolina, who responded to the scene. "We're definitely ruling this as a freak accident caused by nature. Who would ever think lightning would travel through wood?" - Times Herald-Record
