SOD: Jay Flemma Lands at the Golf Space
Golf blogger, writer, attorney, course architecture guru and good guy Jay Flemma has relaunched his blog (i'm calling it "A Walk in the Park 2.0") over at golf networking site The Golf Space.
I once spent a few innings at a baseball game with Jay and came away dizzy from the energy that he radiates when talking golf and course design.
While I break down a course with comments like: long, short, pretty, boring, hot cart girls, good burgers... Jay is more likely to say things like:
"The new venue, Atunyote, is one of the least inspiring and most milquetoast courses in Christendom. The course design is a confused and kaleidoscopic whirligig of boring trash with greens and hole shapes that are three scoops of unflavored yogurt. The only thing missing here is the clowns with seltzer water bottles running out to hose down the players. This is one of Fazio’s weakest efforts."
Certainly a different perspective on the game we love... Now in improved packaging!

Given ten days and the choice between playing free golf at Turning Stone Casino and staying in to read Bogey Lounge, I'd read Bogey Lounge 9 times out of 10. I'd only leave that one time because the round was free.
I also call it 2.0, so once again, you are remarkably perceptive. Good to see ya, Bogey...the only Bogey you ever wanna see on a golf course, and a bogey that's welcome any time.
