TDS: The Daily Shag - Comeback Edition!

It's been a while since I posted regularly in the last few months, what with a new day job and our first little one on the way (any day hour now), it's been tough to get into the posting zone.

However, it's time to step up because next week is the PGA MERCHANDISE SHOW and thus officially the start of the golf season for BogeyMan. With that I pledge to get the Lounge amped up and ready for what should be an exciting week of G3 (GOLFIN' GEAR GOODNESS).

DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK
Golf Blogger posts about Callaway's new FT-5 driver and its designation as Editor’s Choice in the 2007 Golf Digest Hot List. Up until now the FT-5 has been under the radar because of Callaway's much anticipated FT-i square driver. What Golf Blogger didn't mention is that Callaway took Editor's Choice honors in 5 out of 11 categories in this years Hot List. Time to buy Callaway stock perhaps (ticker symbol: ELY).

CAN I HEAR AN AMEN?
Tony at Hooked on Golf Blog asks, "Who annointed George Lopez as the spokesman for golf anyway?". Dead on Tony - and while you're pondering that question see if you can find out why I'm watching Taylor Hicks play golf on the Golf Channel as I type these words. Celebrity golf is not my thing, unless the celebrities are pro golfers - but I guess that wouldn't be celebrity golf now would it... yeah I know, whatever.

I could go on, but I need to pace myself. Plenty more to cover in the next few days including shooting my all-time low score last week under the influence of Captain Morgan and Coke - My new baby girl - and a preview of what's coming out of Orlando next week.
