Who knew that just a year later I would be with my wife for the birth of our first born instead of the PGA Show? ... Bad timing? Ironic? Or maybe very fitting? As much as I love shiny new golf gear, it goes without saying that the experience I just went through really put things like golf into perspective... and while my golf time may be cut down with the arrival of our new bundle of joy, this is a most welcomed golfing setback.

My favorite time of the year will now coincide with the birthday of my baby girl. What could be better than an annual trek to Disney World for her birthday weekend and a stop by the Orange County Convention Center for the show? It's great when things work out, isn't it?

Tomorrow I'm going to call the David Leadbetter Golf Academy and see how old she needs to be before attending her first instructional session :)
