Charles Howell gets biggest win of his career at Nissan

We are still over a month away from the Masters and already the PGA season is full of interest and intrigue.

Charles Howell, the much lauded young gun who looked as if he would be just another passing fad looks to have his game in order and stands atop the early FedEx Cup standings after nailing down the biggest win of his career.

It was only the second victory of his career, but it helped Charles exorcize the demons of nine runner-up finishes since winning the now-defunct Michelob Championship in 2002.

He already has two runner-up finishes in four starts this year, including three weeks ago against Tiger Woods down the coast at Torrey Pines.

Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, and Jim Furyk are great players, but for tour needs young and exciting players to energize each week's action.

Congrats to one of the best "good guys" on tour.
